Over the years I've resisted using the military as a border patrol. Finally I've been convinced that posse comitatus may not apply & along come an argument that may put me back over the fence.

"I believe we should have as large a border patrol as we need to secure the border. I don't think you should use the military any place that puts it in close contact with civilians or puts it in close contact with money. Because you don't want to corrupt the military. You want the military to remain the defender of the Republic and if you get them too deeply involved in the border, there is a danger of corruption that is very dangerous to the long term future of the military."

Gingrich 08 would be the surest way I can think of to hand Shrillary a presidency.

Gingrich folded up like a tent faster than you can sneeze when he was the Speaker when the fingers started wagging at him. He shrinks under the spotlight instead of growing stronger. He would be a poor choice.
