War is hell.
Many of these young men will never be fully themselves again. Most will never be the men they were before they left. Such is the price of freedom. It's a huge price.
My heart goes out to these men and women who serve in the military. I hope their families will give them what they need to adjust, just as they selflessly gave of themselves to protect us all.

I know that "Marine look" very well.
It was on my husband's face when he returned from Vietnam. It took him about a year to sort everything out.
