I've been here too long

See how this works

The first big snowstorm of the season closed hundreds of miles of major highways across the Plains states Monday, part of a treacherous system that also sent tornadoes ripping through Arkansas and Kansas.

Six-foot drifts were common in eastern Colorado, western Kansas and Nebraska, the National Weather Service said. Wind up to 60 mph piled drifts 3 feet high in Pierre, S.D., where state government offices were closed. Snow fell as far south as the Texas Panhandle

Nov 15 was one of the biggest tornado outbreaks in middle TN history. We're under a watch right now.

Had one just east of Houston in December in the late 70s --- within a mile of my house.

Here in Texas -- any season is tornado season.

San Luis Obispo County, CA... major earthquake-free for 422 days and counting!

That's generally a bad thing for areas where earthquakes are common.

Just over a year. There have been a sprinkling of 2-ish earthquakes like normal but nothing big on over a year.
