Just saw something disturbing...

I just saw something disturbing.

I got a pc back from one of our branches and booted it up... Saw that AOL was installed on it (that's not allowed in our company) and since it had a generic username on the pc, I went into AOL to see who's account it was.

And then I found the Filing cabinet. And emails. Of men responding to a personal ad online. With naked pictures of themselves. And then I saw the name of the person I was looking for. It's a guy. And then I found naked pictures of him that he sent to others.

Then I deleted AOL.

:eek5:

That's funny as hell. What's the policy on that, do you report it?

NO WAY it is now time to start making him feel really uncomfortable. maybe talk about how you think people that meet on the net are so crazy. then maybe make fun of internet porn.

I don't know what the policy is but I just made my own-I deleted it, so I can't show anyone. How do you report that anyway? "I just wanted to let you know, John Doe is gay and he's sending naked pictures of himself from his work computer."

No thanks!

But that won't stop me from telling everyone about it. ;)

This guy isn't just a regular user either. He's higher up than that. Good thing for him I can't use it as blackmail, huh? :D

We have a pretty strict policy on it, any kind of porn is to be reported. I'm not sure what they do to you, probably just a way uncomfortable meeting about not doing it again.

That's good.

My old company kept shuffling computer stations about and didnt warn anyone about it. Old 'incriminating' emails were always left in the deep parts of the machine. Our CEO didnt think much of it until I got found one that had ultra sensitive internal financial info and mailed it to him ... prompt new directives on whitewashing the old machines suddenly became priority one.

Since I force people to use their network logon for Windows 2000, I get their passwords to configure it. I've had so many people's passwords over the time I've worked here. The potential is there for me to do major snooping but I wouldn't.

Well ok, maybe just a little snooping.

Too bad, GF. You could've made a fool out of the boss (anonymously, of course) by letting the whole company in on his indiscretions. ;)

lol, I'm not sure what I would do if I found a stash of pictures a girl took of herself, ... especially if she is really hot...

lmao!!!!!! That is tooooooooooo funny!

Gato_Solo had the right idea about what to do in a situation like this!

If someone had seen you looking at male porn, they would have thought you were Mr John Doe. Are you sure someone isn't having this same conversation somewhere else? :D
