I hadn't realized how much 'net' jargon had invaded the English language until I was talking to a young man at work today. Listening to him telling me he'd been flamed all afternoon by some bosses and co-workers.

I double-taked. Then quickly recovered so as to not look lame. :lloyd:
 
Lori, a cashier at Wal-Mart, was at a register with no line today while the others were slammed. She almost said out loud she was going to aggro some customers, but stopped herself just in the nick of time. :D
 
I catch myself using internet abbreviation in my emails to other moms etc that only use the internet for brief research and emails. It seems that they don't understand BTW, IMHO, OMG, IDK, and sometimes even LOL.
