I love that my girlfriend loves to cook for me.
I don't think i've ever asked her to cook me a meal yet she always goes out of her way to cook these extravagant dinners and such. She makes the most incredible clam chowder, split peas soup, fried shellfish, peppered stake, you name it. Before i met her my diet consisted of freezer burned salmon with rice and Tabasco sauce.:spin6: Life is good. :spin6:

It's been a couple of years since i checked and this is right off the boat but

pink .10lb
king 2.00lb

This is known as the Salmon capital of the world so don't feel bad if these prices seem shockingly low. We don't even hardly eat salmon here unless it's a fresh kill and caught atleast 5 miles off shore. Actually salmon is so cheap here that Governer Knowles recently declared southeast Alaska an economic disaster area for the families of commercial fishermen.

holy jayzus! ... a dime a pound? Its like 12.99 a pound here. I need to get you to throw some into a dry iced styro box and 2 day air it to me... but the price break probably wouldnt be realized until I hit 30 pounds. Nevermind.

In Georgia, were the king of peanuts, peaches, vidalia onions, and pecans... and we dont get no stinkin' price break.

Everything gets boring if you eat it enough. Salmon to me is like hamburger to most people. Everyone eats it here all the time so it has little appeal to me. Shellfish on the other hand are another story. I just started eating clams and mussels a couple of years ago and i love'em. What i really like is that i can walk down to the beach and fill up a one gallon bucket and i'm ready for supper. I'll be set if this country ever enters into another global catastophy. That's one of the reasons i love Alaska.

If theres a global catastrophe I wont be here. I live in a primary nuke target area.

Oh no!! They're targetting the Sea of Firmies?
Damn right.. Muslim theocracies spend every waking moment trying to do away with boobies. Damn Muslims... trying to nuke boobieland.

My boyfriend cooks for me once in a while. He made this lamb dish for me the other night that was to die for. My mouth waters, literally, when I walk in the house from work and have the smell of spices, garlic, mushrooms and cooking meat hit me. He's a good egg, my Rusty. :)

I've never had lamb before. I make killer Egg fu yung and lumpia though. Lots of phillipinos here to thank for that.

I love it when my fiance (that word still doesn't sound "normal") cooks for me ... he's the best cook in the world :D

I love to cook for people too but unfortunately currently have no man to cook for :(

*mouth drools over salmon* *mouth drools even more htinking about shellfish because scallops are shellfish and scallops are the best food EVER*

YES PLEASE!!!

I need someone to cook for because if not I don't eat good myself! I'm too lazy to cook for one.

The lonliest number is the number one...

hehehe .. Nixy, you need to get Squiggy over there and cook for him before he cracks up :D

I love it when ku'u's boyfri .. errr, I mean fiance cooks ... and when he and my son cook ... *yum* ...

Karen used to do all the cooking around here, but the arrival of the vengeful God that is Ted changed that. I'm pretty much scullion and laundry boy anymore.

*makes a trip over to Nixy's* :brow:

I can cook, and I usually do unless someone else insists on cooking. My brothers love it when I cook some big meal that took an hour to make and will take 5 minutes to eat. Usually I make it a taste to remember though. Maybe that's why they keep asking for me to cook. :hmm:
