Or we could entitle this: Good news for democrats. I think most people including democrats are expecting Bush to win by between 2-5 percentage points this year but we might be in for a surprise. I saw a statistic somewhere (can't remember where) that showed that something like 51 million young people between the ages of 18-25 are registered to vote this year. Easily record numbers. There's no doubt that young people are motivated this year and movements like that of Howard Deans and mtvs rock the vote have stimulated an overwhelmingly youth filled portion of the population. This young vote is naturally swinging left and could imo be enough weight to surprise the nation. The ferver/radicalism of this election has been unprecedented as well. It seems every day there's another story about democrats acting out out violently against republicans. Here's todays example. and i needn't tell you how many times republican gop has been attacked or broken into this year. The Senior citizens that i've been listening too all say they've never seen this much strife surrounding an election. All in all it makes for a very interesting election ironically with two of the most lackluster candidates in recent history.
