Modern medicine is a wonderful thing.

Had a cataract removed yesterday afternoon. Spent maybe 10 minutes "under the knife". Cataract broken up with ultrasound -- implant put in. Wham, bam, thank you ma'am.

The doc checked my vision this morning --- a smidge better than 20/20. It hasn't been that good since I was 10 years old.

And Lord have mercy, I didn't know that colors were so vibrant. It is amazing how yellowish-grey my world had become and I hadn't realized it.

So the surgery took 10 minutes. How long did the wham bam thank you ma'am last? :lol2:

Seriously, glad to see you're recovering. Now that you can see clearly, I expect you to abandon that wispy haired little brat and find a real driver to pull for. *peepwall*

Please. Don't encourage him. ;)

Congratulations, BTW.
