so the reality of building a house is slowly dawning on me ... constructions costs, mortgage loans, savings, etc... and i was lamenting the fact that my husband & i don't have the suggested $5,000-$10,000 in our savings.
my mom is the bestest!! she offered to keep $5k of her money in my savings account. not for my use, but just to have there so the banks will think i have it.
