Of all the ailrlines & of all the countries to hijack an airliner from, don't piss off El Al. They will win.

ISTANBUL, Turkey (AP) - Security guards on Israel's national airline El Al overpowered a man who tried to hijack a flight from Tel Aviv to Istanbul on Sunday.

None of the 170 passengers on board the Boeing 757 was harmed and the plane landed safely, said Oktay Cakirlar, an official at Istanbul's Ataturk International Airport.

The semi-offficial Anatolia news agency identified the hijacker as Tawfiq Fukra, a 23-year-old Arab with an Israeli passport.

El Al is awesome. I know we flew on it a few times, and yeah, don't piss them off. They don't take shit from anyone. For obvious reasons, I still think they are the most secure airline to fly. Their services are a bit crude, but you can be sure the nice looking girl serving you your dinner can kick the shit out of a trouble maker.
