Mysterious Lifesaver

Oh Mysterious Lifesaver
you’ve done so much for me
in yet so little time

You made me realize how special I really am
after everyone else turned me down
you made me remember my dream
I had forgotten about so long ago
you gave me the chance to live a better life for myself
you turned my heart from red to gold
in just a snap
from your healing fingers

You inspire me
You give me hope
you give me strength
you give me compassion
you give me warmth
but most importantly
you give me love
no one has ever been able to do all that for me
until you came into my life

My love for you
my Mysterious Lifesaver
is bigger than the moon
taller than Mt. McKinley
and deeper than the Atlantic Ocean
the greatest feeling in the world

All the memories we shared
in that little time
were the best I ever had

Oh Mysterious Lifesaver
did you come from heaven
or were you just a dream?
well, if you are just a dream
then how come I can still feel your kiss on my cheek?
that warm, soft, and tender kiss
and if so
will I ever see you again?
so I can get one last look at you
of the angel that changed my life
the angel called
Mysterious Lifesaver

This very same poem was in the school newspaper......but ms. KC took out the best part
