I already have Christmas with my Mom done, went up yesterday and had all the gift exchange and the whole works, I got a 256mb Stick of DDR, so I'm up to 512 now, and a $100 Best Buy gift card, and a bunch of clothes and other stuff i don't care about. ;)

we beat you ... my family (me, husband, my sister, and baby) opened presents with nalani's family (her and her kids) last thursday :santabng:

... that's 'cause my sis flew to O'ahu to spend Christmas with my parents and we wanted to open presents with her :D

hehehe .. me too ... that was nice ... we should do that every year.

ku'u and her husband got my eldest son diving gear (mask, snorkel, fins) with its own backpack .. my son tried to act all cool and everything but when the next morning, I found that he was sleeping with it! :D He woke up and said that he was so excited about his gift :D

they got my middle son the "Darren's Dance Grooves" DVD - he's the dude that choreographed music videos for 'N Sync, Brittney, etc ... it's cool - he shows you step-by-step how to do the dances. Looks super easy too, until you actually start dancing :D

they gave my daughter a basketball - talk about happy ... she was drooling before she even opened it up :D

They got me "SchoolHouseRock" on DVD :headbang: ... my kids are addicted to the songs now :D

well, we got cute little Japanese dishes to mix wasabi in ... complete with chopsticks ...

anybody wanna come over for some sushi ;)

and if you notice, it is a 6-piece set ... even though there are only 3 solid food eaters in your house ... you know, just in case you wanna have company over for dinner *hint* *hint*

:headbang:

I'm just a bill,
Yes, I'm only a bill,
And I'm sitting here on Capitol Hill.
Well, it's a long, long journey
To the capital city,
It's a long, long wait
While I'm sitting in committee,
But I know I'll be a law someday...
At least I hope and pray that I will,
But today I'm still just a bill.

I'm just a bill,
Yes I'm only a bill,
And I got as far as Capitol Hill.
Well now I'm stuck in committee
And I sit here and wait
While a few key congressmen
Discuss and debate
Whether they should
Let me be a law...
Oh how I hope and pray that they will,
But today I am still just a bill.

I'm just a bill,
Yes I'm only a bill,
And if they vote for me on Capitol Hill,
Well then I'm off to the White House
Where I'll wait in a line
With a lot of other bills
For the President to sign.
And if he signs me then I'll be a law...
Oh, how I hope and pray that he will,
But today I am still just a bill.

:D

My favorite... Interjections

(Cough! Cough! Cough!)

When Reginald was home with flu, (uh huh)
The doctor knew just what to do:
He cured the infection,
With one small injection,
While Reginald uttered some interjections:

(Hey! That smarts!)
(Ouch! That hurts!)
(Yow! That's not fair, giving a guy a shot down there!)

Interjections (Hey!)
Show excitement, (Yow!)
Or emotion. (Ouch!)
They're generally set apart from a sentence
By an exclamation point,
Or by a comma when the feeling's not as strong. Mmmm...

Though Geraldine played hard to get, (uh huh)
Geraldo knew he'd woo her yet.
He showed his affection,
Despite her objections,
And Geraldine hollered some interjections:

(Well! You've got some nerve!)
(Oh! I've never been so insulted in all my life!)
(Hey! You're kinda cute!)

Interjections (Well!)
Show excitement, (Oh!)
Or emotion. (Hey!)
They're generally set apart from a sentence
By an exclamation point,
Or by a comma when the feeling's not as strong.

So when you're happy (Hurray!)
Or sad (Aw!)
Or frightened (Eeeeeek!)
Or mad (Rats!)
Or excited (Wow!)
Or glad (Hey!)
An interjection starts a sentence right!

The game was tied at seven all, (uh huh)
When Franklin found he had the ball.
He made a connection,
In the other direction,
And the crowd starting shouting out interjections:

(Aw! You threw the wrong way!)
(Darn! You just lost the game!)
(Hurray! I'm for the other team!)

Interjections (Aw!)
Show excitement, (Darn!)
Or emotion. (Hurray!)
They're generally set apart from a sentence
By an exclamation point,
Or by a comma when the feeling's not as strong.

So when you're happy (Hurray!)
Or sad (Aw!)
Or frightened (Eeeeeek!)

Or by a comma when the feeling's not as strong.

Interjections!

Or emotion!
Hallelujah!
Hallelujah!
Hallelujah... yea!!

(Darn, that's the end.)

I love the part where the guys says, "Hurray! I'm for the other team!"

I love the schoolhouserock video too. bill and conjunction junction are still my fav. got the boys watching and singing along now too.....
