OK, most of you know that I am at least claiming to be building a hermit retreat. The world sucks, humanity has gone downhill, we're all doomed, yada yada yada. This thing needs a name cuz I'm tired of typing hermit retreat. Chime in!

My mother has a cute little stuffed black bear on her front porch, and it's holding a pretty little embroidered sign reading "Go Away". I love that woman.

How you coming getting that wood cut? Winter is coming, y'know. She might need , oh, about half a cord to make it through.


That reminds me, I need to get my 10 cords of maple ordered before the rush. Won't be rightly seasoned before the snow now.

She has enough for two winters in the shed now. It's a matter of cleaning up, not heat.

My brother hosted my nephew up there this summer. He (the nephew) is 15. Mike made him do a bunch of it, so she's well set.
