Once my favorite team, they went from private ownership to a corporate write-off. Now they're being sold again.

The Fox Entertainment Group and Frank McCourt announced Friday that they have reached an agreement in principle for the sale of the Los Angeles Dodgers to an investor group headed by McCourt, a prominent real estate developer.

Except you. Now if you don't mind, I'll go find someone with an IQ.

New England Dodgers????

i was wondering the same thing Gonz. McCourt does have 25 acres of prime waterfront property here in Boston. he tried to get the Sox to build a new staduim there, but they passed.
one of the local papers noted that his grandfather was the owner of the old Boston Braves.

25 acres doesn't sound like enough space unless parking can be had somewhere nearby... :nerd:
plenty of room for a stadium and some parking garages. there is already an expo center in the area and there are plans for convention center and multiple hotels. there are a couple of fairly large parking garages in the area already.
