Just picked up a Plextor PX-712A DVD±R/RW Drive moreso to replace my Creative 6424 that was only burning at 2x and without burnproof was constantly throwing coasters,than to burn/backup DVDs .I only have a 1.33Ghz Tbird with 383MB of ram (mobo has a ISA slot),does backing up a DVD require "encoding/decoding" power or can I simply copy 1:1 .If it does require "encoding/decoding power " is my CPU gonna be enough to do the job???
