Stuff like that happend in Texas all through the 80s and 90s.
As Steve Goodman used to say, "That's just the way the girls are in Texas."

If y'all remember the mother accused of trying to hire a hitman to kill the mother of another girl, so she would drop out of the cheerleader competition ---- well, I had the "pleasure" of teaching both girls and dealing with both mothers.

And, to tell the truth, I'd have done the job for free --- the mother that was supposed to be killed was an absolute pain in the ass. The ultimate in stage mothers --- the girl did not wear clothes that mother didn't pick out, she didn't have friends that mother didn't approve, her make-up/hair was done by her mother every morning.

Mothers and daughters taking being a cheerleader very, very seriously down here. *sigh*

You're the western edge of the football belt. College ball in particular is a religion from you all the way over to the Atlantic, all the way up to Richmond. Cheerleading is just the female version of that. Thus my comment about my part of the country.

Ever write one? Easy fits nowhere in the process.

You don't think all those criminals in prison writing books actually put pen to paper, do ya? Hell, most of them probably couldn't sign their book without a spelling error.

The story was already written, filmed.. and now in the .99 cent bin.
