I learned something new today... the green dot on the back of some helmets means there's a radio in it. I have the TV on the ATL-SF game (Harrington sure is craptacular int he early going) and SF is having communication problems, and Alex Smith had to change helmets.

Now, if only I knew that the C with five stars below it on some of the uniforms is for, I'd be snug as a bug in a rug.
 
Well, looks like now we can award the Patriots and not the Colts the Super Bowl title this year.

Oh, wait... there were other games today?
 
Now that I have checked.. yeah.. there were other games.

The rookie running back for the Vikings had a rather spirited day.

The Colts didn't want top have to beat them twice. Assuming the year continues as it has, Indy will take the AFC title from NE in the championship.
 
All I can say is, I am gonna die 10 years earlier than expected because of that damn game. I was furious at some of those calls. Why the hell do you put a rookie crew into one of the biggest games in a long time??? Rarely do calls effect a game as much as yesterdays bullshit...
 
Perhaps they thought that the two teams were so professional that they would be like golf players and call penalties on themselves.

That would be Peyton all the way. Problem is, he usually gets what he wants. I am still bitter about them getting those new rules put in place a few years ago because our CB's were to "physical" with their WR's. It's football you pussies!!!
 
The rules on jamming up WR have been steadily getting tighter since the 70s. Its not a spontaneous punishment against your favorite team.

You won... calm down. Your guys run at least a %50 chance of sweeping the regular season.
 
I know. Just one more thing I can point at Peyton. :D

I am still surprised we won that game. They dominated us for 90% of that game.
 
I am still wondering what all the headbutting was going on in the huddle at the end of the game... anyone else see that?
 
I'm watching the Steelers-Ravens ---- in high definition. I used the four hyphens because I don't dare call it a game right now. Three Baltimore fumbles have led to three Pittsburgh TDs and a 21-0 lead early in the 2nd quarter. Which is uglier... the Steelers' throwback uniforms or the Ravens' offense?
 
God damn... first play for Baltimore after the kickoff after the third TD and McNair gets flagged for intentional grounding.

If the Ravens had had eighty year old naked women on offense it wouldn't have been as ugly as those uniforms. Probably would have been more effective though.
