Not a war movie, but sorta military.

Too cute for words
We were discussing war movies at work the other day (interesting bit of synchronicity if you believe in that) and "No Time for Sergeants" came up. Not really a war movie, it's a comedy with Andy Griffith. Only three or four of us had seen it. I wonder how many people here have? I think it originally came out 1956. If you haven't seen it, I highly recommend it. You will laugh your ass off. IMO it's one of the funniest movies ever made. Don Knotts appears briefly, I think I read somewhere that it was the first time they worked together. This time, Don Knotts is the straight man. See it, you won't be sorry.

Oh yeah, the kids can watch it too.

Just a smidge of lighter fluid... you know ... for flavoring.

Seen it several times.

It was the Army Air Corps until 47 when it became the Air Force. The movie was based in the early 50s... so.. yes... air force. They're just the helpers of the infantry after all. ;)

"PPhhhttt, PPPhhhttt, Ppphhhttt, hell-o" is my favorite sarcastic saying. Works well on telemarketers.:elaugh2:
