Which such waves about I would think that the camera work would have to be done with a helicopter and a zoom lens.
 
I realized the same thing.
That shot had to be obtained from a helo.
There's no other way.
Because of the perspective (from a helo) I can't fathom the magnitude of the wave it appears to be truly monstrous!
Hundreds of feet?
 
Well then either these guys weren't interested in a worlds record or it's an optical illusion? heh heh

One thing we can all agree on, that clip is breathtaking huh?
