Ol' Dirty Bastard

He made some noise in the mid-90s with the Wu-Tang Clan, and did some of his own solo work too. He's known more for the stunts he's pulled than for his music.

He escaped from court-ordered rehab once and skipped town, and he got arrested a month later in Philadelphia... THREE DAYS AFTER PERFORMING A CONCERT IN NEW YORK CITY with the Wu-Tang Clan. :eek6:
 
Technically he was Dirt Mcgirk now. He ditched the ODB title after a new record deal with Def jam records.
 
I was reading an article at MTV in which his mother was describing him as the sweetest most generous person on the face of the earth just before the paragraph describing his stints in prison and parole violations.

uh-huh.

Sounds like a TV news story...I don't know why he was shot? He found the Lord in his 4th prison stint. He's been out 6 months & hasn't been hanign arounf those hoodlums too much & was getting his life together.

The bold part is in every single story about gangbangers & is usually said by an Aunt.
