Dallas, Texas (KFSN) -- Doctors in Texas are scratching their heads over an extremely rare medical case. It involves a pair of twins born at the same time, to the same mother but they have two different fathers.

11-month Old Justin and Jordan are pretty much like any other twins. But when their mom noticed some subtle differences in their facial features, she decided to get their D.N.A. tested. That's when she discovered each boy is actually from a different father.

It's a phenomenon called "hetero-paternal super fecun-dation," and doctors say it's the rarest type of twins in the world. "Uh, this is likely to be the only time that we will see this occur in the city of Dallas. It's that rare," said Dr. Chris Dreiling.

Mia Washington, the twin's mother said "Out of all the people in America, out of all the people in the world, it had to happen to me, but I'm very shocked."

Shocked? I don't think so. People don't pay for DNA testing unless they're pretty damn sure what the results are. And she damn well knew she had more than one guy between her knees at the time. now she's got two daddies on the line for child support.
 
Hmmm... like a dog in heat. If a female dog is out on the street when she's in heat she's going to end up with pups that don't all look alike. Different daddies, different characteristics.

Multiple eggs is not common. Even if she had multiple partners it would be the sperm that hit that second egg first. So... let's just say that its a 3 some (1 woman and 2 guys in this case). And one guy has the vagina and the other guy has ... something else, or is waiting his turn, or whatever he's doing. Anyway... the first guy releases his semen filled with eager sperm all swimming toward the jackpot (2 eggs). Next guy jumps on for a ride and he's still got to "pump the jack" to release his load. Meanwhile, sperm of the first guy are already on a head start to the finish line and the second guy's sperm are still behind.

So chances are that the first guy's sperm will penetrate both eggs.

However, its likely that no one ever questions fraternal twins from the same daddy. This one just decided to have DNA testing to back up suspicions.
