200GB or more HDD, internal, IDE/PATA 133, 7200 RPM. No SATA option on this mobo.

Is the additional expense worth it to go from 8MB - 16MB cache? $79.99 + tax vs $109 plus shiping.

Photo editing, video capture/editing will be this drives sole purpose.

I'm not sure about the extra cache, but they now have some ide drives with
the NCQ, and that, I know, makes a diff.
I didn't see a big change going from a 2mb to 8mb cache.

thanks Cat. I didn't see a huge difference going from 2 -8 either but I also didn't buy 200giggers & run movies on them.
