Opinions needed on shooting stars and making wishes

What is your experience with shooting stars and making a wish? I just saw a shooting star for the first time in my life and I made a wish. Now I've got things to do and time tends to be limited; so should I be expecting this wish to come true?

What has been your general user experience with shooting stars?....what is the WCT (Wish Came True) percentage for you so far? I don't wanna get my hopes up for no reason because as it stands, I am not a big believer.
 
I can't say that they've ever failed me. Then again, I live within walking distance of an airport, so anything even close to looking like a shooting star is likely an aircraft, and with the tremendous outdoor lighting, seeing the moon is a miracle some nights. I'm more likely to see Catherine Zeta-Jones than Alpha Centauri here. :D
 
Number of whimsical wishes onna star that came true: Zero

Number of wishes solidified into goal that were aggressively pursued with persistance and vigor
that have come true: 100% (so far)

If the last two thangs I have to accomplish on this earth
come true I'll let cha know.

But you'll be well into middle-age by then...
 
Nah. We have to keep a few of those kind around for historical reference.
