This just came in. It's an older K62 450 and I doubt I can find parts for it.

The damage is pretty extensive though.

Yikes. NFG. That doesn't look like it's from merely dropping it or pressure from opening it with the latch closed. How the hell did they do that? Did they say, "I don't know how it happened! I just found it like this!"

Yeah right.

The bottom of the case also has some more cracks in it but they are small and you have to look closely to see them.

The laptop manufacturer isn't sure if they can get parts for it either.

Doesn't look good.

Actually, the screen still works.

The only way to fix it if the parts are no longer available is to use good ol' epoxy. That outta look nice and handsome.

I salvaged a stack of thinkpads using the ol' epoxy too. Beat paying $1400 for the plastics.
