RAMALLAH, West Bank (Reuters) - Seventy-five percent of Palestinians support the suicide bombing at an Israeli restaurant two weeks ago in which 21 people, including four children, were killed, a Palestinian survey showed Sunday.

The survey by the Palestinian Center for Policy and Survey Research, which questioned 1,318 respondents in the West Bank and Gaza Strip, also showed that 85 percent of Palestinians support a "mutual cessation of violence by both sides."

The poll found considerable anti-American feeling among Palestinians. Just over 95 percent of respondents said the United States was "not sincere" when it says it seeks to establish a Palestinian state alongside Israel.

In a question asking whether they supported or opposed the October 4 bombing in the northern city of Haifa, 75 percent said they either supported the attack or strongly supported it.

Seventeen percent of respondents said they opposed the bombing and 4.4 percent said they strongly opposed the attack.

I'd like to see a similar survey to Israelis about the military attacks that Israel army does often against Palestina and recently against Siria.

If the Israeli's attacked cafe's & nightclubs & commuter busses, with the express hope of civilian casualties, I wouldn't support 'em & neither would their people.

Until pushed beyond reason, I'm very peaceful. :evilcool:

they do attack civilians as it is a time of war there and neither side is innocent of killing civilans

Israel does not attack civilians. They attack assorted terrorist positions. Granted, there are civilian casualties due to the nature of the positioning of the terrorists.

You won't be able to find a case where Israel went in & set off a bomb with the express interest of blowing up innocents. The few Israeli murderers who "martyred" themselves were called just that-murderers.
