well the last two have blown the doors off as far as spending as proportion of GDP. they certainly had (or have) problems controlling spending. like 17 year-old girls buying shoes....
 
The percentage of spending to GDP is far, far below the average US household. Last time I looked, it was about 4% debt. What's scary is the actual number. Yes, I'd like to see 0% debt...if we cut out all the unConstitutional spending, we'd be tax free for a decade.
