Powell: Iraq evidence may have been wrong

I hate liars.

Powell said Friday he had been given solid information about the trailers that he told the Security Council in February 2003 were designed for making biological weapons. But now, Powell said, "it appears not to be the case that it was that solid."

When you find some, let me know.

7 days following the attack he supposedly made a statement. Do you have him stating that again or was it a one time fluke? For that matter. do you have him stating that? There was no source credited.

Powell could well have been a good president. After shilling in for the Bush administration, he won't see a second term. Then again, we are not sure that he wasn't told to lie by Bush & Co. He seems to be cannon fodder for all the admissions by the Bush adminstration, which is a shame because it ruined his credibility.

EDIT: Having said the above, it seems ironic that in fact it was a dictator who told us the true nature of WoMD in Iraq. Quelle Suprise

Powell has never publically spoken his positions. How do you know he may have been a good president? What the hell is shilling? Then again, you don't think he believed his eyes when saddam proved to the world he had WMDs by using them, so the current administration had no reson to lie. The entire world knew saddam had them. Cannon fodder? Ruined credibility? Dictator? Maybe you just don't understand those terms.
