Trained soldiers of the best equipped army in history against a bunch of whooped up civies with equipment that was antique in WWII? What other outcome was there?

she busts out inna great big ol SMILE!!!

Um prof it's OK if you don't wanna read the posts and stuff
but these were MP's with only recent Infantry training and some of these folks are National Guard members 'citizen soldiers' in the posts it talks about how they aren't even eligible for the CIB as they are considered 'support' personnel.

The victory is all the more great because they AREN'T a frontline Infantry unit!!!!!!!

Leigh Ann could be back selling shoes this time next year.

You are right even with 30+ to 7 odds
the bad guys have to be total lame asses
not to have wiped out or at least inflicted
far greater casualties on the attacking force.

I guess we have won this police action completely.

I suppose the three Hummers with SAW’s fifty cals
and a medic who only just recently had any training
on the use of the A-4 is a match for a dug in force
of far superior number.
 
Gimme one .50 and I'll personally take on anything. That there was anyone left to take prisoner is the only suprise.

Yeah I love the comment that they hate the nine mil
Berretta (shot the guy five times and only wounded him)

and that there is a shortage of ball ammo for the 50's
they are having to use the incendiary rounds instead

The guy's complaint was that the incendiary rounds
won't shoot through buildings like ball ammo. heh heh
 
With a .50 blazing at me, I wouldn't need to fake much. The roar alone would stiffen you up like a corpse. Shortage of ammo. No shit. It only uses about 1000rounds/min.
