Redskins Defeated, An Omen is given....Kerry Wins!

Since 1933 the last Washington Redskin home game has corellated with the presidential electon. The Redskins were defeated 28-14 by the Green Bay Packers today.

All those new voters want Bush out and unless he can use intimidation and legal maneuvers, I see Kerry winning the election slimly, but without major recount scenarios.

My opinion is that the game prediction thing is probably just happy coincidenece but I certainly hope it continues for four more years.

I should probably point out that the Redskins haven't played a game in Washington since 1996. They've played their "home" games in Maryland starting with the 1997 season. They won their last real home game, beating the Cowboys in December 1996. But Gore lost.

So far the move has not mattered. In 2000 the Skins lost at home on Monday Night Football to the Tenessee Titans. Gore went on to lose that election.....Nice try. No Matter where they play it's their home field and they represent Washington. Like I say it'sa all just happy coincidence......Probably, but if one believes in omens they seem to bode badly for Bush thus far.

odd thing is that the stadium is in the DC area. Not DC itself but I think they can call it home
