remember who your friends are

This issue was sufficiently sensitive that the Israelis were uneasy about to selling UAVs to Russia, particularly since Moscow was providing advanced weapons systems to Iran and Syria.

Washington was concerned enough about the proposed UAV sales that it "requested clarifications" from Israel's Defense Ministry, the liberal daily Haaretz reported in June.

Something is missing. They have mutual treaties & embassies, but there's hardly a long standing partnership between them.

yep that's très messed up schnizz right there
fo show

ever one always sez dubya dubya trois begins in the
mid-east and whose to say anything different?

Looks like they may have just bought an attack Iran card. Still ,.. that's messed up.

I'd think we would have something in the contract about this type of resale.

Russia and Israel invade Iran, people rejoice

“there is no reward for being wrong first.”

cool. well for that matter why not sell some older 1960s vintage nukes to whomever, since they've prolly got newer and fancier stuff now?

well, not only do they have to have newer/better stuff, but also a 'counter'.

Who knows if they have a 'shut down' code built in to the firmware, that they
can activate.

yeah, you can rationalize it all you want, but um, countermeasures don't always work, and they simply should not be selling stuff like that to russia.

hey, maybe the russians can start giving israel the several billion dollars a year we donate to help keep them afloat.

(a cry from the evangelical far right arises "but how could israel do anything wrong?" meanwhile, in tel aviv, cosmopolitan progressives stand around and laugh at the dumb, gullible, redneck americans that send them money. kinda fun to get free money from those you look down on, isn't it?)
