Good guys retaliate........bad lads take revenge.

At least it seems to work that way in the movies ;)

I'm one of the good guys......... I'm kind to animals, tolerate old folks and don't eat small children..... until they piss me off.... :evilgrin:

Revenge is applied as a term on a more personal level. Retaliation on a macro level. Also retaliation could be used to describe mutiny against just general bad conditions for the hope of achieveing something more grand. Revenge is brought on by specific actions undertaken against the venegful. I hope i was clear.

To return like for like, especially evil for evil. Eye for an eye.
