OMG! Guess what!! I wandered into my mother-in-law's house this weekend & I ended up watching a movie with her, Songcatcher. Did you see this movie?

Anyways, I only saw bits of it, and when the credits rolled, my mother-in-law was looking for any soundtrack info, and I noticed the name "Iris Dement"!! I was so excited that I recognized a name, and could share your music with her

I've not heard of the movie, but I'll definately look into it. Doesn't Iris Dement just have an amazing voice?
