that bin laden has been caught, wacth the presidential press confrence tonight and see. Several news sources have eluded to this. white house are denying it but isreal has said its true....
We shall see.

I can't get the Jpost which never happens. Maybe they're making some sudden changes. Watching Haaretz as well. I am beside myself with anticipation. Which radio station/program did Gonz hear this from?
 
I'm not sure that you can keep news like this under wraps. until I see someting a little more concrete and mainstream .. I will treat it as an unfounded wildfire.

There might be something to this. If it happened within the past hour or so i expect we'll be hearing much more in the hour to come.
 
I haven't seen anything on it yet, they're doing a great job of covering it up if they did.

Did they ever identify the guy that was caught with Mohommad?
 
I was listening to WJR in Detroit. Heard about it on Rush & Mitch Albom & from a 3rd (forgotten source).

It seems to have been mis-information but I'm not sure. Today they say they caught 2, no 1, no wait, make it 2, it could be 1 of his (bin Ladens) teenage sons & killed 7-9 al qieda members. Those are being denied also.

My theory is we have him & don't want to release the info.

Nine al-Qaeda terrorists were arrested as a result of a police raid in Pakistan.

As Pakistan’s influential newspaper News reported Friday, in accordance with unconfirmed data, Osama bin Laden or his son may be among the arrested.

On Wednesday, a large-scale operation was held by Pakistani police together with American special force in two helicopters in the settlement of Noshki in the province of Baluchistan close to the Afghan border.

Witnesses say that Pakistani troops were especially active in the district on Thursday.

As The News International reports, he hunt for Osama bin Laden intensified Friday in two remote districts on Pakistan's border with Afghanistan. As a governmental official reports, information gleaned from captured al-Qaeda operative, Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, led to Chitral in the northwest, and somewhere along southwest border with Afghanistan in Baluchistan. There is a possibility that bin Laden could be hiding in Baluchistan close to the Afghan border or in Chitral, these areas are being searched.

what i heard was that pakistani local government had said that 2 on bin laden's sons had been captured during raids mounted after the capture of that chap earlier on.
