Rented Rushmore again tonight. A funny flick. Another in this newer genre of films i enjoyed was the wonderboys and finally (and best of all) The Royal Tenenbaums. Actually, after watching the Royal Tenenbaums for the third time i think it's one of the funniest films i've seen in many years. I'm wondering if anyone else likes these flicks and if they know of any other newer comedies that might fit in this genre so that i might check them out.

I saw Wonder Boys in the theater and liked the movie quite a bit. The guys I went with only went to see Katie Holmes, though.

Ahh yes....The Royal Tenenbaums. The characters were a little too one dimensional in that film, a little too whiny and annoying but still funny and interesting. I related to Gwyeneth Paltrow's character but not nearly as brooding.

Wes Anderson has a kanck for offbeat comedies. I haven't seen Rushmore but i did see bottlerocket.....got bored and turned it off.

Royal Tenenbaums was the funniest of the three.
