Obambi is now going to face the reality the empty charisma he sold to the American public holds no power over Iran. He though that he would be able to
grandstand I'minajihad through the sheer force of his personality. He will have to get used to people laughing at him to his face.

"People who put on a mask of friendship, but with the objective of betrayal, and who enter from the angle of negotiations without preconditions, are more dangerous," Hossein Taeb, deputy commander of Iran's Revolutionary Guard Corps

Obamessiah wanted to meet with no preconditions and all Iran has so far is conditions.

In recent interviews, advisers to Ahmadinejad said the new U.S. administration would have to pull U.S. troops out of Iraq, show respect for Iran's system of rule by a supreme religious leader, and withdraw its objections to Iran's nuclear program before it can enter into negotiations with the Iranian government.

Hey, weren't they supposed to just fall hopelessly in love with us now that the one is in town?

"Generally, all of these issues were merged into one slogan: change. But that must mean change of current policies, change of militaristic policies, change in the unacceptable meddling in the affairs of other countries," he said.

Obama would not be welcome in Iran as president, were he to decide to come here, Kalhor said. "He can come as a tourist."

so when do we listen to them?

Hey, weren't they supposed to just fall hopelessly in love with us now that the one is in town?

Who said that? Did you just make that up?

"If these policies really change, then the deep gap, the distance between Iran and the U.S., will become less. If these promises are acted upon, there will be more chance for closeness between the two nations," Samareh Hashemi said.

Yeah, there's a little work to do before we can be all buddy-buddy.

Awww, it's a PC world, isn't it?

I guess I could have said A-jad has "bitchslapped" B.H.O. but some might view that term as sexist.

The Iranians have thrown their first swat of reality at Bama Lama Ding Dong. They not only implied that he is a two faced liar but they also have put pre-conditions on any talks with him. Will the new Negotiator in Chief brownnose his way --- oh, dear ---perhaps that should be "behave in an obsequious manner" --- into the hearts of the Iranians......or will Iran turn their back on him because they know his is not a threat.......?

In a speech coinciding with the missile launch, President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad warned that his government would act against any threats.

"The Iranian nation defends its dignity. Should any power stand against the Iranian nation, the Iranian people will crush it under its foot and will strike it on the mouth," he said in a speech broadcast live on state television.

Ahmadinejad added that it doesn't matter who comes to power in America because the important question will be how a future U.S. administration will behave.

All Iran wanted was a weak, confused and corrupt U.S. president.

The democrats delivered. That should be a concern to all.

The was no bitchslapping or dissin and there was no accusations of being a liar.

Actually no drama at all.

*yawn*
