not this time.
It's a weird little story. Here in our city, we have a brand new electronic touch screen voting system, and I guess a 60 Minutes producer was gonna try and do a little create-a-news, and come up here and "test" it. I imagine to play up on the whole Florida thing.
Aaaaanyhoo, it seems the councillors thought that it was a test of the electoral process, but they came to find out that what the intention was was to copy the software and play with that, looking for glitches (not quite written in this story this way, but I can't find a link...it's just what the local yokel news is saying.).
This Brown dude is a freak. The intention of CBS seems to have been to come up here, copy software they had no right to copy (the town doesn't own it, the maker does), and it seems the maker has put the brakes on it.
My long winded point here...it's interestin' that CBS was wanting to come up here and create a story from a non story by doin something illegal/violating copyrights.
