Try crashing one of those into an Excursion though. When you crash something into a non-moving object, the force of the car bounces back and pushes on the car itself; in a Smart car, probably 1,200 pounds or so. But when you crash it into a moving 5,000-pound object, you get a lot more force pushing back on the smaller object.
