mine sucked.
we have 32 beds in our ER. when i got to work, 20 of them were tied up with admissions. there were no rooms available in the hospital. then we started getting the drunks in cause they were cold and hungry. there was an 8 hour wait in the waiting room. the patients were all pretty cool about the wiat, but i was ready to crack a few family members upside the head. then the ambulances started rolling in faster as the day went on. of the 20 patients waiting for beds, maybe 7 got a room upstairs. unfortunately, by then, there were another 9 or so patients to be admitted. i think there were about 22 or 23 holds in the ER when i left.
from what i heard, today was a better day than sunday.
glad im off tomorrow....

Aha! I thought I heard a cork squeak . . . :cocktail:

Dave, I don't see how you guys in ER can do it. I would run out the door screaming after two or three hours. Here's wishing you strength and patience (*resists pun temptation*). :toast:

You don't want to hear about my day. It started off when I walked out onto the porch and looked at the thermometer . . . 82 degrees . . .

For the first day of class it was OK

Now, if I can make it through another day without LOSING it with the ex and telling him to stop being such a pussy and STOP whining about every little thing in his MSN names then I'll be on a good path...brainsoft...not Vince...

...and people wonder why I'm very rarely on MSN.

Well, actually, it's because there's no way to log straight into invisible mode without first being visible and having it tell everyone who has you on their list--with a very noticable box that stays there for a long time--that you're online. Notably, Brandi and family.

But not having to do research every time someone comes on MSN to find out who the hell they are is a nice benefit.

My day was pretty good yesterday. My Bosses Boss got escorted out the door at 9 in the morning, so we're all just a little stunned. They finally announced yesterday afternoon that he was no longer employed with the department (Duh) , but no explanation as to why.

*lol* Nothing like a good "scandel" to make the workplace interesting. :D I bet the waterin' hole is quite buzzing.

Oh yeah, for the most part people are just surprised. There are a few that are really happy, but nobody is really upset to see him go.

But I'd have to log onto MSN to block her, and she'd see me come on, then try to call me on the phone a bunch of times because she knows I'm home.
