SuperBowl for Atlanta???

Well, Atlanta lost the bid for the 2010 Superbowl. Something about them being a "northern city" (whoever thought up that needs to buy a globe). But lo and behold, there may be hope yet. The rumour-mill has it that this year's Bowl, which was supposed to be held in New Orleans, may be heading their way. Press conference today at 10am.


Personally, I'd wait until the last minute, and then tell them to go fuck themselves.

We already have the Sugar Bowl (one of the big three college football bowls) rescheduled to be played in Atlanta. The timing twixt the Sugar Bowl and the Super Bowl would be about 2 weeks... so its dobale.
