Southern Discomfort
Market Madness

A city councilman in Lancaster County, Pa. wants a local merchant to remove a photo of George W. Bush from a stall in a local market because the image is offensive to local Democrats, reports the Lancaster New Era.

David Stoltzfus has had the president’s image hanging in at his Central Market baked-goods stand for a couple years now. He says it is there to honor the office of president.

But City Councilman Nelson Polite wants the picture down. He says political paraphernalia has no business on public property. Besides, says the Democrat, “Bush didn’t win here (in Lancaster City). It is like rubbing salt on a wound.”

Because Stoltzfus has so far refused to take down the image, Polite says he will ask the city council to change the law so that all political items would be banned in public places.

Oh for the love of leavened bread, would somebody give me one small break here? Why would a purportedly intelligent society allow this goofball to continue living? Is this truly the biggest issue this "man" faces in his day to day life?

Hey....dickface....news flash....you lost. Get over it. Life goes on. Babies still need formula. The world continues to spin on its axis. The sun will come up...tomorrow...tomorrow....Fish gotta swim, duck gotta quack. Don't wanna look at W's mug? SHOP SOMEWHERE ELSE!! It's called free market economics. I'm reasonably certain this guy not only won't miss your patronage, hell he'd probably welcome losing it. God knows I would. Just crawl your whiny ass back in your Saab, truck your widdle self back to the burbs, content yourself with your own company cuz there likely ain't another living soul who can stomach being within a hunnert feet of you, shut your freakin mouth and quit rurinin' my life!

Sheesh!

*United States of the Offended again*

Just about the first thing I ever posted on this forum: Remember when this used to be America?

Maybe, right next to the picture of the President of the USA, he needs to put a picture of the red/blue counties, just to show how many counties were for Kerry. What was it again? 11 or 12?
