The nation's unemployment rate increased to 5.8 percent in February and companies across the economy slashed 308,000 jobs the steepest one-month slide since hiring hit a slump in the wake of the 2001 terrorist attacks.

no jobs...no cashflow...no business...

...our little company feels it sharply...

Thats probably the bigger part of the problem, Madrin. There is no economy without transaction. That takes spending confidence which is likely to be low until this ME thing is finally resolved....
 
Go to war or go home. Either of those things will help. The American people (all the rest too, I'd suppose) are very uptight about this right now.
 
Damn straight. We had a meeting the other day, because it seems that just NO ONE wants to do any business whatsoever. We discussed the ME situation with respect to our target investors..and we called a few who are on the fence, and each person said that they wouldn't be inclined to do anything until and unless that situation resolves itself. And you know..they don't HAVE to do anything either..and they know it....

we'll still be here afterward, and while the pursue a duck and cover business stance..they also know we'll still be there when this is all over. Meanwhile...we stagnate like everyone else does.

The only thing that DOES work for us is that ag land prices are just dumping....
