i'm not very familiar with the system, but i've heard about european countries who require all gun owners to store their firearms in special facilities where they can be checked out, used, and then returned. what do people think of this?

If it's fine by the Europeans, more power to 'em. Do they have express checkout for muggings or home invasions?

What is point of having gun if it is in storage facility?

"Hold on before you try to kill me, I need to go and get my gun so I can defend myself"

i've not heard of it, although my parents both own rifles and there are regualtions that they be in secured in suitable facilities within the property.

i have heard of pistols being put into centralised secured facilities but that was only for sports use.
