It can't... It isn't possible. You made a math error. The nature of picking a number XY and then subtracting X+Y causes some stuff to happen... And if you note the symbols...

Anyone figured this out yet?

It took me about five minutes last night while lying in bed. Of all those numbers any solution if you follow the problem as described must come out to a multiple of 9.

9, 18, 27, 36, 45 etc...

41...4+1= 5 41-5 =36
49...4+9=13 49-13=36

etc...

There are a limited number of possible answers. All of those possibilities have the same symbol...which changes each time you play so you think its picking differently..
