A while ago there was a question about the cost of missles etc. I posted 1.2 million for cruise missles but most thought they were much cheaper. ABC news said today that the missles launched in the initial attack attepting to get Saddam cost 1.376 Mil each. And we launched 40 of them. It was a $55 million dollar hit on Saddam.....just an interesting fact.

55 Million. That's a pretty expensive hit. I'd a tried it for a lot less than that.

If it was successful, I'm sure it would save more than that on the back end of this....

What's the value of innocent lives? Or troops that can be saved later, as Squiggy points out? Just a thought.
