Forget Buckingham Palace. The real money is at Hogwarts.

An annual survey which estimates the fortunes of Britain's wealthiest people shows "Harry Potter" author J.K. Rowling is now richer than the queen.

The survey by The Sunday Times estimates Rowling's fortune at $444 million -- more than four times what it was three years ago ... 11 places ahead of Queen Elizabeth, who has an estimated worth of $397 million.

I've read several articles on it and believe it to be true bottom line wealth. I think the land and whatnot is listed as part of the public trust these days. Its not like she can sell the crown jewels for some fast quid.
