He swept into two rooms on the maternity ward at Mt. Sinai Hospital on the weekend, calling himself a 'lactation consultant'. But police say he wasn’t what he claimed to be - and now he's left two victims behind. Authorities are on the hunt for a man wearing hospital scrubs, who sexually assaulted the new moms at the facility on Sunday.

He entered the patients' rooms, talked to them briefly, then fondled them. It wasn’t until hours later when the two victims mentioned their visitor to a nurse that the alarm was sounded. By then, he was long gone. Authorities believe he may not be a stranger to the profession. “The suspect appeared to be very comfortable in his surroundings,” confirms Det. Sgt. David Colwell. “His whole demeanour would indicate that he had some medical background.”

i hope they catch this sick bastard. what hes doing is wrong. i hope they catch him and make him suffer. noone should ever have to go through that. i hope the women he fondled are ok.
 
Hmmm...If he was that desperate to feel up a woman, there are better places to do just that. This man is sick, and should be put down before he has a chance to add to the gene-pool.
 
Oh come on, does no one else see the ingenuity this guy has? Ok, really I think it's pathetic, and if I knew either of the women up there, I'd be pissed as hell, but standing from afar, I think it's just a little funny.
 
I think it's a little funny, but I wasn't the one fondled, you know? I would feel totally skeeved out if it had happened to me.

There's a career choice for ya... "Lactation Specialist" ;)
 
I think it's disgusting. New moms are vulnerable because they are willing to take help and advice from the hospital staff.

I remember a band of theives and rapists from a few years back wherein the criminals used police uniforms. The mere presence of an authority uniform caused poeple to just let the police into their house or be pulled over and robbed.

Hospital staff and patients are breathing easier on Wednesday - police have made an arrest in the case of a maternity ward sex assault intruder. Authorities caught up to Zachariah Scott after a flurry of activity late Tuesday. The 25-year-old suspect most recently worked at St. Michael's Hospital in the shipping department. But he was suspended just before officers arrived, for showing up in parts of the institution where he didn't belong.

Police had received numerous tips on a suspect since the release of a Mt. Sinai Hospital security video, which showed a man dressed in scrubs, who apparently approached two new moms posing as a 'lactation consultant'. He addressed the women in convincing medical terms, fondled them, then left. But when one of the victims asked when he'd be returning, she was informed all their technicians were female. And that sounded the alarm.

Investigators believed the man worked in a hospital setting. But Scott was eventually arrested on the street, while walking home around 12:30am. He faces two counts of sexual assault.

Run him up the flag pole. But you have to give him full points for ingenuity. Now let the fathers loose on him. Let's see how ingenious they can be.
