Could it be that federal income tax is...Illegal?

news story about the trial

And if you think your government is oh-so-worried about protecting you and your rights...

A Chattanooga TV station quoted the government spokesman as saying that this case will change the way the IRS will handle such cases in the future. They indicated that they (the government) would be less likely to prosecute if a jury isn't going to decide in their favor.

If something like this gets to the supreme court and they rule that individuals do not have to pay income taxes, you can bet your ass that there will be a 28th amendment.

Sss & Pee Pee that article is 'priceless'.

That defense team should get a Nobel prize er sumthin'

How magical if we could have a 'taxpayer's revolt'.

The only fly in the ointment is the sad widdle fact that:
A. The worlds entire currency market is backed up by the US dollar and
B. The US taxpayer is $7,838,410,800,630.51 in the hole.

If there was a widespread revolt the whole house-o-cards
would come a tumblin' down.

But gee if the average American got a 50% raise in income
it sure would be neat-o huh?

Are there people who actually believe this?

Yeah. They call themselves Democrats usually. They must believe this way; they keep wanting bigger and bigger government to take care of them so they won't have to provide for themselves.
