Timing is everything

Not meaning to start a political thread in the Entertainment forum (but doing it anyway), United is goimg to release Osama in Jan.

The film looks very interesting. The timing stinks. The title stinks. The subject matter seems to be leading. The storyline seems contrived. It will be interesting how it does (and how it does in fly over country).

Bet it was hard to find a 6'5" actor with bad kidneys to play the part.

Good point; there are plenty of actors that are 6'5" and I'm sure there are several that have bad kidneys. But all rolled into one? That's kinda tough.

seems like they'd sit on it for awhile like they did that ben affleck attempt at that clancy book....cuz of all the blowing up of stuff so close to sept 11.......

Just watched it on DVD.

Like all independent films, it made little sense. Good for historical references to the Taliban & how women are relegated to below second class citizenry.

All you art film fans, watch it & explain the ending to me por favor.
