U.S. Claims Iraq Broke U.N. Rules; Fires On Radar

That type of actions are just what the US needs to start a war, what a coincidence.

Next thing we will hear is Osama Bin Laden sleeping in Sadam Hussein's bed

Yeah, but if Iraq wants to prove they have peaceful intentions then they should be shooting.

err... shouldn't be (typo)

They violated the NEW resolution they accepted just a few days ago already. This just shows how pointless it is to negotiate with them. I mean, the facts are there. They ACCEPTED the resolution, and a few days later they FIRE on us already. Thats a blatant violation and clearly shows they are not interested in negotiating, but rather just playing for time.

Realistically it would take something large at this point for us to make a wide scale attack regardless of those who think we're waiting for the drop of a hat. This government wants to avoid a war believe it or not. However repeated misconduct will justifiably result in a US response.

The planes over Iraq get fired upon almost daily. It's only news on slow days. With the new resolution ( a re-hash of the old resolution x10), it'll make news because of it bringing us closer to the pobable.

I agree with what HeXp£Øi± said about this government wanting to avoid war. I think if they really wanted war, they would have ignored the UN and went forward without them.

You are not getting my point ;)
What if the planes shoot were not in the authorized area? what if the planes shoot first?

I do want to believe what Hexploit said about avoiding a war, unfortunately, i don't.

You think we're the only ones monitoring the situation? The UN has eyes too and they would have a hissy fit if something like this happened. The US is not the only group with eyes and spy satellites on the situation.

We get your point, Luis. The US is evil and can't be trusted. I think you've made your position clear on that.

That's what you got. I don't believe they are trying to avoid a war, basically because the US was the one saying that they would act even without the consent of the UN.

I'm not talking about just this thread. Your posts are consistently anti-American.

Just as yours are anti-Iraq, anti-commies, anti-Cuba, anti-this and anti-that.

Everyone has his opinions, mines might appear as anti-US to you. I'm not pro-US just as i'm not anti-US. The threads discussed in here, coincidentally raise my anti-US opinions.

So you're saying that being anti-Iraq, or anti-communist, or anti-Cuba is the same thing as being anti-US?

What I am, Luis, is anti-tyranny. Comparing the US government to the governments of Iraq, Cuba, the USSR, China, Cambodia, North Korea, etc, is so asinine that it doesn't merit a discussion.

Everyone has his opinions

Yes. Some are true, some are false, and some contain a mixture of both.

I've yet to see you take the side of the US in any of our disputes with the tyrannies of the world.
