unavoidable smile

Lately I've been smiling and greeting people for no reason at all. Even the smallest eye contact will make me smile and wish a good afternoon to the other person.

Some people kind of freak, some others just don't care and there are others where it would seem you just made their day.

Do you do the same?, what are your experiences with it?, do you feel intimidated when a stranger greets you?
